Frequently, it is due to unrealistic New Year’s resolutions. Therefore, we at Nicolas Vahé provide you with our ideas on realistic New Year’s resolutions. 4 small habits that are relatively easy to integrate in everyday life – but it is habits that make a huge difference.
Start the week by making a meal plan for the coming days.
Subsequently, it is easy to make a shopping list of the things needed at home – in this way, you also avoid too many impulse purchases.
At the same time, you can do the shopping all at once and avoid extra trips to the supermarket.
Try to integrate more vegetables in your daily meals. It does not have to be complicated. It can easily be in form of some carrots in your meat sauce or slices of tomatoes on your omelette.
Tip ... If you are hungry during the day, try to eat some carrots, celery roots, snack pepper or something else you like.
Water is a crucial factor for our health and wellbeing – but do you drink enough water? A rule of thumb is to drink about 2 litres of water every day.
Tip ... Bring a water bottle with you on the move – in this way, you will automatically drink more water. Add a piece of lemon or some fresh berries to make the water more tempting.
A lot of us have different New Year’s resolutions, for instance that we have to exercise more in the new year. However, it is often difficult to find the time for it.
A solution to the problem is that you take the bike instead of the car. In this way, you get extra exercise and fresh air. That is just wonderful!
