The great plant guide

02.04.2019, House Doctor, Trends

At House Doctor, we love green plants – they provide the decor with life. We have therefore gathered a guide with a selection of plants we love. Discover out how often you need to water the plants and where to place them in proportion to sunlight and temperature. If you keep your plants healthy, you can enjoy their beautiful colours and funny but elegant look for a long time.

How to read our plant guide

The drops show how many times a week you need to water your plants.

Note…
If there is only a half drop, water the plant every two weeks.
If one and a half drop is filled-in, keep the potting soil moist.

The sun shows how much light the plant needs.

If a quarter of the sun is filled-in, place the plant relative dark and only with a tad of sunlight.
If the half of the sun is filled-in, place the plant in indirect sunlight.
If the sun is full, place the plant in direct sunlight.

The thermometer shows which temperature is best for the plant.

If one thermometer is filled-in, the best temperature for the plant is between 0-15 degrees Celsius.
If two thermometers are filled-in, the best temperature for the plant is between 15-22 degrees Celsius.
If three thermometers are filled-in, the best temperature for the plant is over 22 degrees Celsius.
